Predictive Analytics & Forecasting

A forecast is only useful if someone changes a decision because of it. We build demand, churn, risk and capacity models that plug into an actual decision — how much to order, whom to call, what to hold in reserve — and we report uncertainty rather than hiding it behind a single confident number. Where the honest answer is that the signal is too weak to act on, that is what we will tell you.

What We Deliver

Our Capabilities

Comprehensive Predictive Analytics capabilities backed by deep expertise and proven methodologies.

Demand and sales forecasting — including seasonality, promotions and irregular events
Churn and retention modelling — with the lead time needed to actually intervene
Credit and risk scoring — explainable, auditable and reviewable models
Inventory and capacity planning — service level against holding cost, made explicit
Pricing analytics — elasticity estimation and scenario comparison
Anomaly detection — for revenue, operations and infrastructure signals
Uncertainty quantification — prediction intervals, not just point estimates
Scenario and what-if modelling — comparing plans before committing to one
Backtesting — how the model would have performed against your own history
Decision integration — forecasts delivered into the tool where the decision is made

What we would tell you in the first meeting

A forecast with no interval is a guess wearing a suit. The most valuable output we produce is often not the prediction but the honest width of the range around it — because that is what tells a planner how much buffer to hold.

FAQ

Predictive Analytics — Frequently Asked Questions

How much history do we need before forecasting is worth it?+

Enough to cover the patterns you care about — usually a couple of full seasonal cycles, more if promotions or irregular events drive your demand. If your history is too short or too noisy, we will tell you that rather than fit a model to it. A confident forecast built on insufficient data is more dangerous than no forecast.

Why do you insist on prediction intervals?+

Because the decision usually depends on the range, not the midpoint. A planner deciding how much buffer stock to hold needs to know how wrong the forecast could be. A single number hides that, and hidden uncertainty is how organisations end up systematically under-buffered.

How do we know the model still works six months later?+

Monitoring, and scheduled backtesting against what actually happened. Forecasting models degrade quietly as conditions change — that is normal, not a defect — so we build the recalibration path in from the start and alert when performance drifts past the threshold you set.
